Epiphany at Prague - Karlovy Vary - Dresden

Meeting at the airport and direct flight to Prague. Arrival and start our guided tour of Castle town, where we will admire the Strahov Monastery, Chernin Palace, Loreto, Schwarzenberg Palace, the Archbishopric of Prague, the Presidential Palace, St. Vitus Cathedral, St. Nicholas Church, etc. Check in at the hotel and in the evening free time in the city center always accompanied by our leader.

Breakfast and we start our day with a tour of the Old Town, where, among other things, we will see the Old Town Square (Staromestskenamesti), the medieval Town Hall with the astronomical clock, the church of Holy Mary Tyn, the Jewish quarter, the Gothic Gunpowder Tower , the Charles University, the Nostic Theatre, Wenceslas Square (Václavskénamesti), the National Library and the Philharmonic Hall. We will then enjoy a walk on the stone Charles Bridge which is adorned with 30 statues of saints.

At noon we will have free time for eating and shopping.

We can also (optionally) board a boat from the bank of the "Little Side" for the two-hour cruise on the country's longest river, the Moldova River, or on the Czech Vltava. Relaxed, we will admire the Castle, the bridge, and all the other beautiful sights of the medieval city, from another angle.

In the afternoon we suggest you visit the unique Black Theater which will offer you a magical mix of kinesiology, music and dance causing illusions due to the black background and candle lighting.

Breakfast and then we will depart for the "Venice of the Elbe River", the beautiful Dresden with its long and glorious history, which was also the seat of the Saxon kings. Dresden has been a meeting point for painters and sculptors, musicians and writers for many years. The beautiful bridges and tiles represent the procession of the Saxon rulers. Of course, the historic baroque buildings, the imposing temples and of course the famous opera house will satisfy even the most demanding visitor. We will visit the Schwinger royal complex with its palace and gardens, the "successor wall" built with 24,000 porcelain tiles. The station of our visit will also be one of the oldest Christmas markets in Europe (since 1434), the Striegelmarkt, whose festive atmosphere will delight young and old alike.

In the afternoon return to Prague.

Breakfast and optional departure to Cesky Krumlov, a charming town located 180 kilometers from Prague. Arrival in the city which is one of the few that has preserved its medieval character. We will start with our tour of the historic center which since 1992 has been registered on the UNESCO list as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site. We will visit the medieval castle and the Gothic church of St. Vitus with its amazing interior. We will then visit the medieval castle of the city which has historical objects inside as well as a gallery with paintings. Then we will visit the ancient water mill KrumlovMill located on the river with the characteristic wooden bridge. Then free time for food and coffee in the historic center. In the evening we will return to Prague.

Breakfast and free time for the last souvenir shopping, then departure for the beautiful spa town, Karlovy Vary, which sounds almost like a legend in the north, where mountains, forests and villages pass our eyes along the way like a picture book. The beautiful spa town will impress us with its greenery, gurgling waters and magnificent buildings. Then transfer to the airport for our return flight.
