Christmas in Budapest - Danube villages 5 days

Meeting at the airport and flight to Budapest. Arrival and we start the tour of the city separated by the Danube, Buda and Pest. We will see the Bridge of Lions, the beautiful islet of Margarita, the majestic Square of the Heroes, the imperial palaces, the Fishermen's Tower, the Church of Matias in Buda and the area of ​​the Palaces in Pest. We will end the tour with a visit to Gellert Hill, where we will admire the statue of Victory, dedicated to the heroes of World War B. Free time and then check-in at our hotel.

In the evening we suggest a night tour of Budapest with its illuminated buildings and in combination with the (optional) cruise on the Danube we will have amazing images and memories. Return to our hotel.

Breakfast and immediate departure for Szentendre , a traditional Hungarian village. We will visit the ceramic art museum of the sculptor Margit Kovacs and the orthodox church of 1752. Wander through the village of Artists and Fine Arts, as St. Andrew is typically called, where you can buy crystal, porcelain and many souvenirs. We continue to Visegrad, the next village on the Danube. We will admire the two huge castles, built by King Bela IV to protect the area from the Mongols. Finally we will stop at the village of Esztergom, where we will see the numerous sights, among which are: the Basilica, the Castle and the Cathedral of Esztergom, and the wonderful view of the Danube from the castle, perfect for photos.

Return to Budapest and rest at our hotel.

Breakfast and we recommend an excursion to the city of Bratislava, arrival in the picturesque capital of Slovakia.
