Description

Switzerland is a country of intense natural beauty, dominated by mountain peaks, rolling meadows and impressive lakes. Most travelers come here to experience the scenery and are also pleasantly surprised by the cultural treasures found in the cities and tourist centers. Places like Zurich, Geneva, Basel and Lausanne offer world-class museums, vibrant art scenes, wonderful old architecture, great food and all the luxuries that come with great cities. There are also many smaller towns and resorts that can serve as a base for those who want to enjoy the scenery.

The main attraction for most visitors is the Swiss Alps. The full impact of the mountains is difficult to appreciate without immersing yourself in the landscape, but fortunately there are many ways it can be achieved. Many scenic driving tours lead into the mountains and along the lakes, or for the more adventurous there are all kinds of hiking trails. In winter skiing is a favorite pastime for locals and visitors alike.

Many travelers start their journey in Zurich, Switzerland's largest city and a major transport hub. To see the city take a stroll through the Old Town where there are many interesting old buildings such as the Baroque Zunfthaus zur Meisen which houses the ceramic collection of the Swiss National Museum, Bürkliplatz, the Town Hall and the Church of Our Lady. Zurich is also known for its shopping, with many high-end stores along Bahnhofstrasse.

The picturesque city of Geneva is located on the shores of Lake Geneva, surrounded by mountains. The Old Town rises above the city on the left bank, overshadowed by the Cathedral. Nearby are the Museum of Old Geneva, the Monument to the Reformation and the Place du Bourg-de-Four. Basel and Lausanne, two other popular destinations, have also preserved beautiful old towns and are worth a visit.

Lucerne also has a well-preserved medieval city center and can serve as a good base for exploring some of the nearby mountainous terrain, including Mount Pilatus. Guests can choose to take the cable car up the mountain and return on the cog railway. For great mountain views, also head to Rigi, one of the most famous points of interest around. From the top of the cable car there are many hiking trails.

Switzerland is a popular winter ski destination with many ski resorts including Grindelwald, Gstaad, Mürren, Zermatt and the famous St Moritz. These mountains are also frequented by climbers, and in the summer most ski resorts cater to hikers or hikers. Near Zermatt is the famous Matterhorn, which regularly challenges experienced climbers.

Make sure before your departure that you get all the necessary information about your trip from the seller who served you

Transit time from city to city is always relative and depends on weather conditions, road traffic and border delays

In hotels recommended with vertical lines, the price refers to both. In the event that a hotel does not collect the necessary reservations, we recommend a group, so that people gather in one or two and facilitate the execution of the tour program

Optional activities are not mandatory and are just a suggestion and you are not obliged to participate.

A minimum number of participants is required for their realization.

Mandatory stops will be made (based on relevant legislation for drivers' timetables) at regular intervals (approximately every 2 and a half hours) for coffee, food and toilet. The stopping points are the borders as well as shops on the road. Unfortunately their quality is not always the best. In many places 50 minutes are requested from the cleaners in the toilets

For health reasons, it is not allowed to use the toilet on the bus, as it cannot be disinfected during the journey and is a source of contamination.

Excursionists must adapt to the health rules of the country we are visiting and bring the required documents. The office operates only in advisory capacity.
